Welcome to the NAM Research Center
Recently the computer lab has been relocated to a larger area in the school's library to provide room for expansion and to functionally provide a complete research center for the school where all types of media are accessible including computers and internet access, books, reference material, periodicals, software, and CDs and DVDs.

First Semester Computer Curriculum
Kindergarten: Computer lab rules, fine motor skills in using a mouse, logon procedure, parts of the computer, proper handling and loading of CDs, interaction with education software packages.
First Grade: Review of Kindergarten curriculum, basic creative KIDPIX skills.
Second Grade: Understanding the use of computers in the home, basic POWERPOINT skills.
Third Grade: Use of computers in society, graphics and text box WORD skills.
Fourth Grade: Typing review of home row and introduction of remaining alpha keys. Speed goal: 25 WPM.
Fifith Grade: Typing review and accuracy development of all alpha keys. Speed goal: 35 WPM.
Sixth Grade: Typing review and speed and accuracy development of all alpha keys. Speed goal: 45 WPM.
